About Me

IT ALL STARTED WITH A PENCIL AND A SHEET OF PAPER...

When Julie was just a baby, her father balanced a pencil on top of her forehead. With unknown forces of the universe, it balanced gracefully without any trouble. According to her mother, who told Julie this story, her father enlightened her with the prediction that she would craft many great things.

Initially, Julie wanted to become an architect and study at one of New York's best architecture schools to pursue her interest in urban planning and designing eco-friendly architecture. However, things took an unexpected turn after attending a local community college for two years. She became fascinated and fell in love with digital media arts.

This fortunate turn of events led Julie to attend a New York college where she pursued New Media studies for three years. From learning digital photography, videography, programming, and more, she incorporates these mediums into her digital and printed works. She has a strong passion for designing a body of works that are playful and comical and meant to be informative and interactive.

BEHIND THE COMPUTER & CAMERA...

Julie spends her days working at a sign company outside New York City. Besides laying out designs for up-and-coming buildings around the Tri-State area, she's a local photographer always out and about capturing moments worth telling a story over good food and good company.
